We are now in 2010 and Music for Minors is still going strong! Thank you so much for all your support and I hope you and your children are still enjoying classes! There are now new classes at Horbury on Thursdays and Castleford (supported by funding) on Wednesday afternoons.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to come and speak to me.

A BIG thank you to Kate for taking over some of my classes when I was ill and thank you to everyone for your get well messages – I hate being ill!

Easter Activity - Painting to Music

A couple of years ago I ran a painting to music session in the holidays. There were different types of music to listen to and hopefully inspire creativity, paint, glitter, sponges, brushes etc. It was all rather messy but great fun! I think it would be really nice to do this again at Easter time and raise some money for charity. I’m looking at Tuesday 6^th of April (likely to be at Crigglestone or Walton) and would be grateful if you would register your interest on the sheet put out in class.

Singing for fun!

The adult “singing for fun” group meets every 1^st Wednesday of the month at Horbury Bridge Junior and Infant School from 7.30pm. The groups aim is to explore your voice and have fun ! £2 for the session including refreshments! If you’re interested please let me know.

Yellow Moon

I now have some new Yellow Moon catalogues which have loads of great Easter craft activities and gifts. I will arrange a bulk order to save on postage for Easter.  Please have your order in by: 13^th of March. All the funds raised through Yellow Moon go to the HR Trust from Music for Minors!

T-Shirts and CDs

The new Music for Minors T-Shirts are now available to buy for £5. Sizes are: 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 5-6yrs. There are also a range of CDs and musical instruments available which would be a great alternative for Easter gifts. These will be available during class from the beginning of March.

Next Term

Spring term will start week beginning 19^th of April and run until week ending 24^th July. Half term is 31^st May to 6^th June. (13 week term)

Bouncing Babies = £3.25 per session (£42.25)

All other classes = £4.25 per session (£55.25)

If you have more than one child (siblings) attending please deduct £1.75 off the total cost of all children. You can pay by cash, cheque (please make payable to Music for Minors) or direct.
